1 硬件资源
创龙科技SOM-TLIMX8MP是一款基于NXP i.MX 8M Plus的四核ARM Cortex-A53 + 单核ARM Cortex-M7异构多核处理器设计的高端工业核心板,ARM Cortex-A53(64-bit)主处理单元主频高达1.6GHz,ARM Cortex-M7实时处理单元主频高达800MHz。处理器采用14nm最新工艺,内置2.3TOPS算力NPU神经网络处理单元、双路独立ISP图像处理单元、双核心GPU图形加速器,并支持1080P60 H.264/H.265视频硬件编解码、三屏异显功能。核心板通过工业级B2B连接器引出2x MIPI-CSI、2x 千兆网口(一路支持TSN)、2x USB3.0、2x CAN-FD、MIPI-DSI、HDMI、LVDS、Audio、PCIe 3.0等接口,经过专业的PCB Layout和高低温测试验证,稳定可靠,可满足各种工业应用环境。
SOM-TLIMX8MP核心板板载CPU、ROM、RAM、晶振、电源、LED等硬件资源,并通过工业级B2B连接器引出IO。

1.1 CPU
核心板CPU型号为MIMX8ML8CVNKZAB,FCBGA封装,引脚数量为548个,尺寸为15mm*15mm。工作温度范围为-40°C~105°C,采用14nm FinFET工艺。

1.2 ROM
核心板通过CPU的uSDHC3总线连接一片eMMC芯片,采用8bit数据线,兼容如下eMMC配置。

1.3 RAM
核心板通过CPU的专用DRAM总线连接2片DDR4,分别采用16bit数据线,共32bit。DDR4兼容型号有如下表所示,支持DDR4-3200工作模式(1600MHz)。

1.4 晶振
核心板采用3个工业级晶振Y1、Y2和Y3,其中Y1时钟频率为32.768KHz,为CPU内部RTC提供时钟源;Y2时钟频率为24MHz,为CPU提供系统时钟源;Y3时钟频率为32.768KHz,为PMIC的CLK_32K_OUT提供时钟源。
1.5 电源
核心板采用工业级PMIC电源管理芯片设计,满足系统的供电要求和CPU上电、掉电时序要求,采用5.0V直流电源供电。
1.6 LED
核心板板载3个LED。其中LED0为电源指示灯,默认上电时点亮。LED1和LED2为用户可编程指示灯,分别对应T28/GPIO3_IO16和A7/GPIO1_IO00两个引脚,高电平点亮。

1.7 B2B连接器
核心板采用4个连科(Linkwork)公司的工业级B2B连接器,共320pin,间距为0.5mm,合高为4.0mm。其中2个80pin公座B2B连接器,型号NLWBP05-80C-1.0H,高度1.0mm。2个80pin母座B2B连接器,型号NLWBS05-80C-3.0H,高度3.0mm。

2 引脚说明
2.1 引脚排列
核心板B2B连接器分别为CON0A(公座,对应评估底板CON0A)、CON0B(母座,对应评估底板CON0B)、CON0C(公座,对应评估底板CON0C)、CON0D(母座,对应评估底板CON0D),引脚排列如下图所示。

2.2 引脚定义
核心板引脚定义如下表。其中“B2B引脚号”为核心板B2B连接器引脚序列号;“芯片引脚号”为CPU引脚序列号;“芯片引脚名称”为CPU完整的引脚信号名称,包含全部复用功能信号;“引脚功能”为核心板引脚推荐功能描述;“参考电平”为核心板引脚工作电平标准。
“芯片引脚号”为"-"表示该引脚信号未连接至CPU引脚。

2.3 内部引脚使用说明
下表为核心板内部引脚的使用情况说明,“B2B引脚号”为"-"表示该引脚在核心板内部使用,且未引出至B2B连接器;否则代表核心板内部已使用且同时引出至核心板B2B连接器。
备注:由于I2C1已连接至核心板的PMIC电源管理芯片,因此从系统稳定性角度考虑,进行底板设计时,建议尽量选用其他I2C总线。I2C1在核心板上未添加上拉电阻,当前使用软件上拉处理,为保险起见,请务必在底板添加4.7K上拉电阻至3.3V。

满负荷状态:系统启动,评估板不接入其他外接模块,运行DDR压力读写测试程序,4个ARM Cortex-A53核心的资源使用率约为100%。
3.3 热成像图
核心板在常温环境、满负荷状态下稳定工作10min后,分别在安装散热片与未安装散热片的情况下,测得热成像图如下所示。其中红色测温点为最高温度点;左上角温度为画面中心点温度。未安装散热片时,最高温度点为58.9℃;安装散热片时,最高温度点为52.0℃。
备注:不同测试条件下结果会有所差异,请参考测试结果,并根据实际情况合理选择散热方式。

5 底板设计注意事项
5.1 最小系统设计
基于SOM-TLIMX8MP核心板进行底板设计时,请务必满足最小系统设计要求,具体如下。
5.1.1 电源设计说明
(1) VDD_5V0_SOM
VDD_5V0_SOM为核心板的主供电输入,电源功率建议参考评估板按最大10W进行设计。

VDD_5V0_SOM在核心板内部未预留总电源输入的储能大电容,底板设计时请参考评估底板原理图,在靠近核心板电源输入端放置总容值为50uF左右的储能电容。

(2) VDD_5V0_MAIN & VDD_3V3_MAIN & VDD_3V3_PCIe_5G & VDD_1V8_MAIN
VDD_5V0_MAIN、VDD_3V3_MAIN、VDD_3V3_PCIe_5G、VDD_1V8_MAIN为评估底板提供的外设接口电源。为使VDD_5V0_MAIN、VDD_3V3_MAIN、VDD_3V3_PCIe_5G、VDD_1V8_MAIN满足核心板的上电、掉电时序要求,推荐使用VDD_3V3_SOM控制VDD_5V_MAIN、VDD_3V3_MAIN、VDD_3V3_PCIe_5G和VDD_1V8_MAIN的电源使能。

5.1.2 系统启动配置
核心板内部未对BOOT MODE[0:3]引脚进行上下拉配置,底板设计时,请参考评估底板BOOT SET部分电路进行启动配置电路设计。

5.1.3 系统复位信号
(1) PMIC_KEY_RSTn(PMIC_RST_B)
PMIC_KEY_RSTn为PMIC的上电复位输入引脚,可用于控制i.MX 8M Plus复位输入引脚,以及外设接口的复位。PMIC_KEY_RSTn在PMIC内部已上拉至1.8V,无需使用时,请悬空处理,以免影响上电时序。

(2) J29/POR_B
J29/POR_B为CPU复位输入引脚,同时与PMIC的复位输出POR_B引脚相连,可用于输出控制外设接口的复位。该复位在VDD_3V3_SOM之后、延迟21.2ms拉高,如下图所示。

当使用该复位作为其他外设复位信号时,为避免外设掉电休眠时影响J29/POR_B/PU/1V8复位输入信号的电平,导致系统复位,需考虑增加缓冲器隔离J29/POR_B/PU/1V8复位输入信号。

(3) G22/ONOFF
G22/ONOFF为CPU的开关机控制引脚,长按5s以上CPU将会关机,再按1s左右CPU将切换为开机。核心板内部已设计100K上拉电阻,无需使用时,请悬空处理。

5.2 其他设计注意事项
5.2.1 保留Micro SD接口
评估底板通过uSDHC2总线引出Micro SD接口,主要用于调试过程中使用Linux系统启动卡启动系统,或批量生产时可基于Micro SD卡快速固化系统至eMMC,底板设计时建议保留此外设接口。
备注:评估底板支持通过Micro SD或USB3.0 DRD(USB1)接口快速固化系统至eMMC,可根据实际情况,选择保留Micro SD、USB3.0 DRD接口。
5.2.2 保留UART2接口
评估底板将AF6/UART2_RXD/3V3和AH4/UART2_TXD/3V3引脚通过CH340T芯片引至Type-C接口,作为系统调试串口使用,底板设计时建议保留UART2作为系统调试串口。
