中秋节代表着团圆。在我国，中秋节时，在外的游子都会赶回家，和家人一起赏月、吃月饼，所以，中秋节象征着家庭的圆满、人们的团聚，也寄托着人们对生活无限的热爱和对美好生活的向往。The Mid-Autumn Festival represents reunion. In China,the Mid-Autumn Festival, travel in the outside will be back home. They enjoy and eat the moon with their families. Therefore, the Mid-Autumn Festival symbolizes the consummation of the family, people's reunion, but also sustenance of people's infinite love for life and the yearning for a better life.
中秋节嫦娥奔月（chang'e Flying to the Moon)的传说：
嫦娥奔月（是中国古代的美丽传说。嫦娥是英雄人物后羿的妻子。在中国，嫦娥意味着月亮。源自对嫦娥的联想，中民族对月亮有着特殊的情感 ，这甚至影响了中国的方方面面。The legend Chang'e Flying to the Moon is a beautiful tale of ancient China.Chang'e was the wife of the legendary hero Hou Yi. In China,Chang'e means the moon,and the Chinese nation has always had special emotion towards the moon derived from the associations of Chang'e, which has even influenced the nation in all aspects.
嫦娥是后羿的妻子，后羿在射日之后获得了西王母赏赐的不老仙药，后羿把不老仙药交于嫦娥保管。而后羿的门徒蓬蒙觊觎仙药，逼迫嫦娥交出仙药，嫦娥无路可退，在情急之下只好吞下仙药，飞天成仙。嫦娥因为不舍后羿，就停在了离地球最近的月亮，从此长居广寒宫。Chang'e was Hou Yi's wife. Hou Yi received the elixir of elixir from the Queen Mother of the West after shooting the sun.
