Terminology
iSCSI uses the terminology of initiator (or iSCSI client) and target (or iSCSI server). NVMe/TCP uses the terminology of host and controller respectively. iSCSI 使用的术语是启动程序(或 iSCSI 客户端)和目标程序(或 iSCSI 服务器)。NVMe/TCP 分别使用主机和控制器的术语。
Fibre Channel uses the terminology of initiator, where each host may have more than one initiator. Likewise, each storage array may have more than one target. 光纤通道使用启动程序术语,每台主机可能有多个启动程序。同样,每个存储阵列也可能有多个目标。

N_Port: N_Port is an end device port that connects to a Fibre Channel fabric. N refers to Node. FCoE calls this VN_Port (Virtual Node Port). N_Port 是连接到光纤通道 Fabric 的终端设备端口。N 指节点。FCoE 称之为 VN_Port(虚拟节点端口)。
